While it's not a brand I can buy often, I am loyal to Fossil in that I pass the good word about its quality and design. Fossil is a brand that makes me want to design and create.
For an early birthday present, I chose this satchel with matching checkbook wallet and jewelry travel case. Fossil is casual, but very tasteful, lining their pockets with contrasting or coordinating fabric, and lots of pockets!
We bought it as a family, and I could see Savannah (8) was coveting it. Since she is sentimental, I told her the set will be passed on to her someday.

I'm crocheting my third "baby" blanket (afghan size) for the third baby, who is now three. The Homespun Lion Brand yarn has been great to work with. It is not the cheapest yarn on the shelf at $5 a skein, but it's one of the softest and offers all your favorite colors, very earthy selection. Picking out the color is my favorite part :)
So every winter since '99, (I'm slow) I've stayed plenty warm while I'm working on these blankets. In fact, I can't work on them during the summer 'cause it's like an inferno.
